Objectives

·        To prove to selected sector communities that a website with e-commerce capabilities is not only economically viable and affordable, but that it actually works and can increase turnover and profitability through the combined presentation and marketing of the sector’s top products through a single sector-based showcase build on a common technology platform.

·        To secure maximum participation of all businesses in a selected sector in order to achieve the critical mass that is required to make such a venture economically viable and attractive to investors as well as the market itself.

·        To identify potential partners and/or investors within the selected sector(s) in order to capitalize and market the showcase effectively.

·        To partner with reputable service providers in order to provide the services they offer to the sector communities as added value.

·        To grow each sector showcase into a viable, self-sustaining and profitable business entity in partnership with participating members of the sector which will provide the expertise and capital required to make it work.

·        To ensure the maximum return on investment to all investors in the shortest possible time.

·        To become the de-facto showcase of South African products to the targeted markets.
